a2geeks Movie Night 1 - Make TV

Calling all makers, hackers, crafters, artists, and creative DIY folks

Join us for a night of geek/maker education, entertainment, and community!

Make:television debuted earlier this month on PBS, and we'd like to share in a communal viewing experience for the a2geeks crowd to celebrate. We have DVDs of the first 5 episodes, courtesy of Twin Cities Public Television and Make:television.

We'll have door prizes of O'Reilly books/magazines/schwag, so come on time!

Schedule

7 - 8 PM Two half-hour episodes, back to back
8 - 9 PM Lightning talks and open networking

Lightning talks are brief announcements from the audience about what projects they're working on. The open networking session will be in the atrium, where we'll have tables set up for demos, tutorials, etc.

We'll invite and reserve tables for the following groups:

Let us know if you'd like to have a table for your group as well (e-mail dugsong@a2geeks.org or leave a comment below)! You can also likely grab one on the spot, and announce yourself during the lightning talks...
